The name of 1987 Promotions came from how a lot of businesses started. The year the founders of the company met… one was born and one happened to be the mother. That old story.

Kara Pagnotta is majority owner and Co-Founder of 1987 Promotions. She’s a loving wife, mother of 3, and a grandmother of one. She was raised in Brooklyn, NY by a single mother. That’s who she learned to be such a great mother and grandmother from. She’s also one bad mother. (get it?)

Kara handles everything you don’t see behind the scenes. Billing, organization, licensing, and keeping everyone wrangled in. I guess you could call her the mother of the company. I know I do. (Hi, this is Billy)

Billy Conway is Co-Founder and Swag Czar of 1987 Promotions (this is now in 3rd person). He was born in Stony Brook, NY where he met Kara Pagnotta that very second. He was raised in Lee’s Summit, MO by his saint of a mother. Billy has a beautiful wife and 2 puppy boys. Billy’s wife C and his founding of Squints Apparel in 2017 is what sparked the interest of Kara and Billy in this industry.

Billy handles sales and creative for 1987 Promotions. He was appointed the self proclaimed title of “Swag Czar” and is excited to do business with you.
